
According to the Shanghai Metals Market, A00 aluminium ingot price has declined by RMB 40 per tonne on Tuesday, September 22, to stand at RMB 14,750 per tonne, following two consecutive days of rise from RMB 14,590 per tonne to RMB 14,790 per tonne. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 14,730 per tonne and RMB 14,770 per tonne, with spot contract to be traded at a premium price of RMB 90-130 per tonne, down by RMB 10 per tonne from the previous day.

In Foshan and Tianjin, A00 aluminium ingot price has plunged by RMB 50 per tonne to RMB 14,920 per tonne and RMB 14,740 per tonne, respectively, while in Chongqing and Wuxi, the price has fallen by RMB 25 per tonne and RMB 20 per tonne to come in at RMB 14,780 per tonne and RMB 14,750 per tonne. In Hangzhou, Shenyang, and Gongyi, the primary aluminium ingot price has dipped by RMB 10 per tonne to hover, respectively, at RMB 14,770 per tonne, RMB 14,740 per tonne, and RMB 14,660 per tonne. The price in Linyi has, however, built up by RMB 10 per tonne to come in at RMB 14,780 per tonne.
As far as aluminium alloys prices are concerned, none other than aluminium alloy (A356) has recorded a change. The price of aluminium alloy (A356) has dropped by RMB 50 per tonne to stand at RMB 15,350 per tonne. The prices of aluminium alloys (ADC12) and aluminium alloy (A380) have remained restrained at RMB 14,800 per tonne and RMB 15,700 per tonne, respectively.
All the aluminium input costs have also remained restrained. Bauxite has continued to hover at RMB 540 per tonne, alumina at RMB 2,334 per tonne, prebaked bauxite at RMB 3,010 per tonne, and aluminium powder at RMB 18.35 per kg.
