Alumina production in Iran recorded a 1 per cent rise during the first five months of the Iranian calendar year (March 21-August 22). According to the Iranian Mines & Mining Industries Development & Renovation, known as IMIDRO, Iran produced 99,473 tonnes of alumina during the said period compared to 98,169 tonnes a year ago. Vedanta Limited, an Indian multinational mining company, has announced its metal output report for the second quarter of FY2023-24 ended September 30.
