China’s A00 aluminium ingot price closes the week with a growth of RMB70/t; Low carbon aluminium price dips to RMB19,044/t

On Friday, July 14, A00 aluminium ingot price in China has expanded by RMB 70 per tonne to score at RMB 18,510 per tonne. The average prices are expected to orbit between RMB 18,490 per tonne and RMB 18,530 per tonne, with the spot contract price expected to be traded at a discount price of RMB 110 to RMB 70 per tonne.

Tianjin's A00 aluminium ingot price has surged by RMB 90 per tonne to settle at RMB 18,480 per tonne. On the same day, the prices in Wuxi and Hangzhou gained RMB 70 per tonne to peg at RMB 18,510 per tonne. As per the SMM data, the prices in Gongyi and Linyi have ascended by RMB 60 per tonne to clock at RMB 18,400 per tonne and RMB 18,440 per tonne. On the same day, the prices in Chongqing and Shenyang have hiked by RMB 50 per tonne to halt at RMB 18,470 per tonne and RMB 18,430 per tonne. Only in Foshan, the price has dropped by RMB 10 per tonne to reside at RMB 18,420 per tonne.

The domestic price of low-carbon aluminium has dipped by RMB 7 per tonne to reach RMB 19,044 per tonne. The high-purity aluminium (99.99%) price and high-purity aluminium (99.996%) price have shot up by RMB 100 per tonne to peg at RMB 26,100 per tonne and RMB 27,100 per tonne.

The price of aluminium alloys (ADC12), (A356) and (A380) have experienced the same price hike of RMB 50 per tonne to reside at RMB 18,560 per tonne, RMB 19,200 per tonne and RMB 19,650 per tonne. The average price for (ADC12) is expected to range between RMB 18,550 per tonne and RMB 18,750 per tonne. For (A356), the average prices may stand between RMB 19,000 per tonne and RMB 19,400 per tonne. On the same day for (A380), the average price may orbit between RMB 19,550 per tonne and RMB 19,750 per tonne.
