China’s A00 aluminium ingot price ascends to RMB19,800/t; Low carbon aluminium price hikes by RMB25/t
On Tuesday, September 26, China's A00 aluminium ingot price ascended by RMB 70 per tonne to score at RMB 19,800 per tonne, with the average prices expected to range between RMB 19,780 per tonne and RMB 19,820 per tonne. The spot contract price may be traded at a premium price of RMB 180 to RMB 200 per tonne.
As per the data shared by the Shanghai Metals Market (SMM), the price in Chongqing has surged by RMB 170 per tonne to peg at RMB 19,800 per tonne. Gongyi and Hangzhou's prices have increased by RMB 70 per tonne to clock at RMB 19,690 per tonne and RMB 19,800 per tonne. On the same day, the prices in Wuxi and Shenyang have increased by RMB 60 per tonne and RMB 50 per tonne to halt at RMB 19,790 per tonne and RMB 19,710 per tonne. The prices of domestic aluminium ingot in Tianjin and Linyi have grown by RMB 50 per tonne to reside at RMB 19,780 per tonne and RMB 19,800 per tonne. In Foshan, it has added RMB 30 per tonne to record at RMB 19,490 per tonne.
The domestic price of low-carbon aluminium has expanded by RMB 25 per tonne to close at RMB 20,269 per tonne. The prices of high-purity aluminium (99.99%) and high-purity aluminium (99.996%) have surged by RMB 100 per tonne to come in at RMB 27,300 per tonne and RMB 28,300 per tonne.
The average alumina spot price has inched up by RMB 1 per tonne to settle at RMB 2,947 per tonne, followed by a growth of RMB 5 per tonne in Henan to stop at RMB 2,955 per tonne. On the same day, the aluminium powder price has inched up by RMB 0.1 per kg to stand at RMB 21.8 per kg, with the average prices ranging between RMB 21.7 per kg and RMB 21.9 per kg.
The price of aluminium alloy (A356) has increased by RMB 50 per tonne to settle at RMB 20,450 per tonne, with the average prices expected to orbit between RMB 20,300 per tonne and RMB 20,600 per tonne. For aluminium alloys (ADC12) and aluminium alloy (A380), the prices have shown no change to close at RMB 19,750 per tonne and RMB 20,750 per tonne.
