World unwrought aluminum stocks down 105,000 mt from May

Global unwrought aluminum inventories at the end of June fell 105,000 mt from May and 137,000 mt from June 2011, according to figures that the International Aluminium Institute released Thursday.
Unwrought inventories totaled 1.326 million mt at the end of June, down from a revised 1.431 million mt in May and from 1.463 million mt at the end of June 2011.
Total aluminum inventories at the end of June were down 86,000 mt at 2.312 million mt from a revised 2.398 million mt in May, and down 209,000 mt from 2.521 million mt the same month a year earlier, the IAI said.
