USA. Willard Marine will supply aluminum patrol boats for Ukrainian Navy

Willard Marine, who has earned name as composite and aluminum boats builder, has got an order to supply four aluminum patrol boats ( includes an option for the fifth as well) to the Ukrainian navy.
Issued by U.S. Navy Foreign Military Sales (FMS) office, according to the contract, Willard Marine is currently supplying two SEA FORCE® 11-meter & two SEA FORCE® 7-meter aluminum patrol boats, each having an open cockpit configuration. Upon request, the company will also supply 7-meter patrol boat.
The 11-meter boats are powered by Cummins QSB 5.9 380 HP engines and Hamilton model HJ292 water jets. The 7-meter boats are each equipped with a Cummins QSB 5.9 230 HP engine and a Mercruiser sterndrive. Willard Marine will provide comprehensive onsite crew training in the design, operation, maintenance and repair of the boats.
Ukrainian navy will use this high-speed patrol boats for Visit, Search, Board and Seizure (VBSS) operations and also other naval operations as and when required.
