Sustainable aluminium management has become more critical due to the exponential growth in global demand. Due to the shift to a sustainable society with lightweight electric vehicles, aluminium utilisation in the transportation industry has expanded. Recycling aluminium is therefore crucial to reducing the amount of rubbish that ends up in landfills. Recycling aluminium conserves 95% of the energy required to produce the same quantity of aluminium from scratch.
{alcircleadd}United States export of aluminium scrap to South Korea in April 2022 stood at 25,600 tonnes, which was augmented by 21,890 tonnes M-o-M from 3,710 tonnes in March. In March, a flat growth of 90 tonnes or 2.48 per cent was recorded from 3,620 tonnes in February. For the same year in January, M-o-M expansion of 870 tonnes or 31.63 per cent was witnessed from 2,750 tonnes in January.
As per the USGS statistics, in April, the United States exported 161,000 tonnes of aluminium scrap, which M-o-M heightened by 123,100 tonnes or 324.80 per cent from 37,900 tonnes in March. In March, M-o-M escalation of 3,200 tonnes or 9.22 per cent was witnessed from 34,700 tonnes in February. For the same year, in February, an elevation of 2,400 tonnes or 7.43 per cent was also seen from 32,300 tonnes in January.
