Tunisie Profilés Aluminum: Domestic market performance cushions the effects of “Corona crisis”

Tunisia’s largest company “Tunisie Profilés Aluminum”, a specialized manufacturer of aluminium alloy profiles has announced its third-quarter’20 results, which reflects an overall revenue rise by 28% and this stands at TND 44,576,567 (Tunisian Dinar) against TND 34,957,488 in the 3rd quarter of 2019.

The overall turnover at 30^th September’20 is TND 95,453,914 against TND 113,622,308 for the same period of the previous year, which is a downfall by 16%, however, the downswing recorded on 30^th June’20 is 35%, when compared to 30^th June’19.

At the end of the 3rd quarter of 2020, the Tunisian Aluminium company recorded an increase in domestic turnover of 30% compared to the same period of 2019 to stand at TND 33,017,811 against TND 25,446,506. Indeed, this progression made it possible to attenuate the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic which were recorded during the first half of 2020.

In the 3rd quarter of 2020, sales on the export market recorded a performance of 22% to stand at TND 11,558,756 and this is against TND 9,510,982 in the 3rd quarter of 2019. Indeed, this evolution made it possible to mitigate the drop in export turnover recorded during the first half of 2019.

At the end of the H1’20, tangible and intangible investments amounted to TND 9,342,40 compared to TND 6,138,62 of H1’2019.

The total indebtedness amounted to TND 43,041,577 TND on 30^th September’20 against TND 55,028,689 on 30^th September’19, which demonstrates a decrease in total debt of -22%. The value of the investments amounts to TND 32,700,000 on 30^th September’20.
