Now in its 143rd year, the The Materials Society (TMS) Annual conference and exposition meets at the San Diego Convention Centre, USA in 2014.
The TMS 2014 Annual Meeting will present nearly 70 symposia covering a broad range of topics related to materials science and engineering.
Although largely aimed at fundamental research, a large section of the programme is devoted to light metals including primary production of aluminium, refining of bauxite and electrode technology.
