
Slovakia ranked as the fastest-growing developed economy in the world. The auto industry is the pillar and lifeblood of the Slovak economy. The country’s economic freedom score is 66.8, making its economy the 60th freest in the 2020 Index. Its overall score has increased by 1.8 points due to an improved government integrity score.

The landlocked nation in Central Europe has recorded 8547 tonnes of aluminium cans import during 2018-19 and the expenditure occurred during the phase for the import remained at $42.89 million. The import of aluminium cans in 2020 is expected to remain at 4428 tonnes and expenditure to stand at $19.98 million. However, when the import volume and expenditure of 2020 gets added with the existing two years, it demonstrates 12,975 tonnes and $62.87 million respectively.

Slovakia’s import of aluminium cans in 2018 stood at 4209 tonnes and the revenue expended accounted to $20.91, whereas, in 2019 the import saw growth by 3.06%, as the import volume rose to 4338 tonnes and expenditure stood at $21.98 million.
The import of aluminium cans for 2020 has been analysed with upswing by 2.07%, as the import volume to climb at 4428 tonnes, while expenditure to drop and remain at $$19.98 million.
The major trading destinations for Slovakia’s importation of aluminium cans are Czech Rep., Austria, Denmark, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Poland, Spain, etc.
