Russia Jan-Sep Aluminum Exports 2.54 Mln Tons

Russia exported 2.54 million metric tons of aluminum in the first nine months of the year, 2.4% more than in the corresponding period last year, the federal customs service said Wednesday.
The aluminum exports amounted to $5.436 billion compared with $4.454 billion in the same period last year.
Aluminum exports to countries outside the Commonwealth of the Independent States totaled 2.511 million tons, worth $5.369 billion. Exports to CIS states totaled 28,800 tons, worth $67 million.
