Rolling mill contracted by SBC-MCC group starts production in Jiangsu

The first hot-rolling aluminum sheet was successfully produced by the hot rolling mill of Aleris Aluminum Industry Co., Ltd. in Jiangsu Province on March 29, 2013. This marks that the rolling mill contracted by Shanghai Baoye Construction Group for this company has been put into trial production.

Aleris Aluminum Industry is a hot-rolling aviation aluminum plate manufacturer invested by Aleris International. Under this contract, SBC-MCC Group was awarded with contracts for the pillar base of the plant, the manufacturing and installation of the steel structure for the plant (with an area of 100,000 square meters), the base construction and equipment of the hot-rolling mill, the base construction and equipment of the milling machine unit, the base construction and equipment of the casting machine unit and electrical control room. The whole project was completed within a period of one and a half years.

General Manager Zhu Jiongjiong for Asia-Pacific Region of Aleris International and the General Manager Ingo of Aleris inspected the whole rolling process on site. They made task designation for the next stage in relation to the delivery of the first batch products in April and the inspection/maintenance work of the rolling line, and then exchanged views with the staff from the Equipment Installation Company of SBC-MCC Group.
