Recycled aluminium weekly recap: Novelis to feature in docu-series EARTH with John Holden; Ever Green Recycling receives $69,000 to recycle discarded aluminium beer cans

EDITED BY : SARNALI CHAKRABORTY 3MINS READ

The Newfoundland and Labrador government helped a regional social enterprise in the recycling and environmental sectors develop a process for composting and recycling liquid waste. Ever Green Environmental is increasingly managing aluminium beer cans thrown away or not intended for open market sale. Novelis is set to be profiled in John Holden's Emmy Award-winning series EARTH, which airs on Fox Business Network. The Missoula-based AniMeals No-kill Adoption Center and Animal Food Bank is renowned for giving animals the shelter and other support they require. Recycling Works has taken over the organization's long-running aluminium recycling operation. The citizens of Sibu (a city in Malaysia) were encouraged to sell their recyclable old items during the 3R Recycling Programme held in Swan Square on March 12 last Sunday.
