The voice of the aluminium industry in Europe, European Aluminium's Senior Manager of Regulatory Affairs – Circular Economy & Raw Materials, George Karkampasis stated, "It is hard to escape the reality that over the last two decades Europe has bounced from one crisis to the next."
On November 11, the Emirates Environmental Group (EEG) achieved fulfilment with their “Can Collection Drive” having the tagline “Cancel the Linear, Enable the Circular”. EEG was, fortunately, able to collect a glorious 11,987 kg of aluminium cans with the sole purpose of recycling them.
