Pennsylvania-based Rytoria aims to bolster its aluminium & copper recycling portfolio with ASC foundry acquisition

EDITED BY : 2MINS READ

Rytoriacap Inc. and ASC Engineered Solutions have announced that Rytoria, a North American-based company specialising in circular metal processing and recycling, has acquired ASC’s foundry and related facilities in Blossburg, Pennsylvania. The transaction follows a comprehensive search by ASC for a buyer dedicated to preserving the site’s role in supporting Tioga County’s industrial economy.

Headquartered in Yoe, PA, Rytoria specialises in recycling and processing both non-ferrous and ferrous metals, including aluminium, copper, and brass. Through its subsidiary, Fagor Regen Aluminum, also based in Yoe, the company produces high-purity aluminium ingots for use in the automotive and general manufacturing sectors.

“Blossburg is a wonderful community with great talent, and we are excited to launch the next chapter of Rytoria’s growth here. This facility provides a strong foundation for our expansion and long-term success. We look forward to engaging with local leaders and learning more about the community’s workforce as we implement a phased expansion strategy aligned with Rytoria’s broader US growth objectives,” said Lorne Kalisky, CEO of Rytoria.

Rytoria has introduced a phased integration plan for the Blossburg facility, beginning with workforce engagement and a thorough infrastructure assessment. Key operational priorities for 2025 have already been identified, and implementation milestones are in progress.

Under a lease-back arrangement, ASC will maintain operations at the site through the end of 2025 as it transitions production to other facilities in Pennsylvania.  Looking ahead, Rytoria and ASC plan to explore potential collaboration through future supply agreements.

“Our goal has been to secure a future for the Blossburg site that continues its legacy within the broader Blossburg community. We’re pleased to have found a buyer in Rytoria that sees long-term opportunity in the site. We look forward to supporting a smooth transition as Rytoria moves forward with its plans,” added Jason Hild, CEO of ASC Engineered Solutions.
