Oppo has just broadened its F series lineup in India with the introduction of three exciting new models, the Oppo F31 5G, Oppo F31 Pro 5G and Oppo F31 Pro+ 5G. Aimed at the mid-range market, these smartphones are built to last, featuring three IP ratings and a frame made from aerospace-grade aluminium alloy.
Oppo's broadened range of these devices is built with sturdy frames, durable glass, cutting-edge cooling systems and dependable connectivity, all tailored to meet the unique demands of the Indian market.
Highlights on core features
The F31 Pro+ runs on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, while the F31 Pro and F31 are powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 7300 Energy and Dimensity 6300 chipsets, respectively. All three models can handle up to 24GB of RAM (12GB physical plus 12GB virtual) and come with UFS 3.1 storage. They operate on ColorOS 15, which brings some cool features like smart pre-loading, improved touch response and a handy one-click tool to boost performance.
The F31 series boasts a robust 360° armour body design, crafted from an aerospace-grade AM04 aluminium alloy frame, which is 10 per cent stronger than the previous model. With the AGC DT-Star D+ glass, the newly launched product has enhanced screen protection and the triple IP certifications (IP66, IP68, and IP69) guarantee resistance to dust, immersion and high-pressure water jets up to 80°C. According to Oppo, these devices can handle exposure to oily fingers, rain and even up to 18 common liquids, like tea and detergent water.
The F31 Pro+ features an impressive 5,219 mm² vapour chamber, while the Pro and base models utilise smaller but still effective cooling systems. Oppo's dual-engine smoothness system, which includes the trinity engine and luminous rendering engine, boosts app responsiveness, speeds up installation times and promises up to six years of reliable performance, all certified by TUV Rheinland's 72-Month Fluency Certification.
