
Ola Electric launches its new model S1 Pro+ with its advanced 4680 Bharat cell battery pack. The battery pack uses aluminium to enhance its conductivity. In this new design the Ola Electric has mainly focused on several new areas, including the use of a new die-cast aluminium grab handle. The use of aluminium alloys in its body frame helps to enhance its efficiency and durability.

The integration of aluminium in the EV’s design and engineering is in the effective utilisation of gleaming metal in the body frame, grab handles and within the rims. This new model uses the 4680 Bharat cell battery, which is a significant step by the company towards launching its EV products. The product is launched at a 5.2kWh version priced at INR 1,90,000 (USD 2143.83) and the 4kWh configuration at INR 1,70,000 (USD 1,918.47).
The use of the indigenously manufactured 4680 Bharat Cell battery in this model by the company is expected to increase its overall efficiency. The motor power used is about 13 kW, Acceleration is about 2.1 seconds, and the range is estimated to be 320 km. The riding modes for this product include Hyper, Sports, Normal and Eco with the use of Dual ABS, disk brakes.

Ola Electric has also enhanced its user comfort and experience by using supportive foam in the seat, aluminium grab handles with a wide range of colour choices. With the manufacture of an indigenous battery, Ola Electric have positioned itself as a pioneer in the EV industry of India. With the introduction of this battery and enhanced aluminium body frame fr the scooter, it showcased an important step towards achieving India's goal of reducing energy in the EV sector.
