Next-gen Volkswagen Phaeton promises to be bigger with an all-aluminum body
According to a latest report, the next-gen Volkswagen Phaeton will be bigger and will feature an all-aluminum body.

Since Phaeton has been in the market since 2002, the model needs a replacement. Considering the fact it did not get significant facelifts in the year 2007 as well as 2010, Volkswagen needs to re-launch itself to compete with the German rivals.

A rumor was in the market that the new model of Volkswagen will debut at North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Feb 2014 but the company later changed its decision. The production model is yet to be ready.

However it is expected the new Phaeton will be bigger in size and will also make use of an all-aluminum body. We can even find smaller engines and a plug-in hybrid variant in place of W12 engine.
