New iPhone 6 Concept Shows Coloured Aluminium Body
We are seeing dozens of iPhone 6 renders emerging on the internet but occasionally one pops up which really catches your eye. The latest one to stand out shows the brand new model sporting a coloured Aluminum shell. The model is shown in a range of striking new colours which include a baby blue and a deep red. The overall look of the phone is much more angular than the devices that we have already seen released and from the images it looks slimmer as well. The designer of this concept claims that the use of Aluminium will also make the handset the lightest iPhone ever released as well.
The latest render has been given its own dedicated website named i-phone6.de and along with the image of the phone there are also details on the interface it will use. The model is seen to be running iOS7 but along with a brand new user interface which boasts some changes including round dialling buttons and a large toolbar at the foot of the display. The phone will also incorporate a colour matching facility within the software so that the background of the phone is identical to the colour used on the outer shell. Other interesting features which have been included are a micro USB port on the bottom of the outer body and a 4.5 inch edge to edge display.
Obviously these concept designs could be very far from the model that will eventually be released but they do give us an interesting insight into what the design and features of the new model could turn out to be. We expect the new iPhone 6 to be launched in mid 2014.
