Napco posts rise in net profit of 9 months

National Aluminium Products Co (Napco) has reported a rise in net profit to RO982,000 for the first nine months of 2013 ending September 30 from RO176,000 in the same period last year, according to a statement released by the company to the Muscat Securities Market on Tuesday.
Napco’s third-quarter net profit increased by 17.1 per cent to RO267,000, compared with RO228,000, on an adjusted basis, reported in the previous quarter of 2013.
The total income of the company stood at RO15.23mn during the first nine months of this year, against RO13.10mn recorded during the corresponding period of the previous year, registering an increase of 16.2 per cent.
