Magaldi designs latest cooling technology for aluminium casting
<p>Magaldi, based in Salerno,&nbsp;Italy, which engages in designing and manufacture of market reliable, high quality and environmentally sustainable industrial solutions worldwide, has designed an air-cooling system optimized for aluminium casting, a news report from the company says.</p> <p><img style="vertical-align: middle; display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="http://www.alcircle.com/uploads/images/Nemak_Monterrey_(2).JPG" alt="news" width="517" height="226" /></p> <p>The Magaldi Casting Coolers (MCC) cools down the aluminium cylinder heads from 320&deg;C to lower than 80&deg;C. The aluminium cylinder heads are kept onto the MCC&nbsp;belt and enter the cooling tunnel where they are cooled down by forced air.</p> <p>{googleAdsense}</p> <p>Magaldi has designed the MCC after theoretical studies and experimental tests on real representative aluminium castings. Magaldi has been awarded by Nemak with two MCC.</p> <p>Nemak, the Mexican leading provider of light-weighting solutions for the global automotive industry specializing in the development and manufacturing of aluminium components, was looking for a technology that can cool down aluminium cylinder heads for its plant in Monterrey.</p>
