On Monday, August 11, the LME aluminium prices edged down by USD 23 per tonne or 0.88 per cent and USD 22.5 per tonne or 0.86 per cent. The prices on the same day closed at USD 2,588.50 per tonne for cash bid and USD 2,586.5 for official settlement.
{alcircleadd}As per the London Metal Exchange (LME) price graph, 3-month bid price and 3-month offer price also descended by USD 19 per tonne or 0.72 per cent to peg at USD 2,591 per tonne and USD 2,591.5 per tonne.
December 26 bid price and December 26 offer price lost USD 15 per tonne or 0.56 per cent to reach USD 2,643 per tonne and USD 2,648 per tonne.
On the inventory side, both Opening stock and Live warrants clocked a different story. They both rose from 470,575 tonnes to 475,850 tonnes and from 456,350 tonnes to 461,625 tonnes. Except for the Cancelled Warrants, this remained unchanged at 14,225 tonnes.

LME aluminium 3-month Asian Reference Price also climbed down the graph by USD 21 per tonne or 0.80 per cent to clock at USD 2,588 per tonne.
Alumina price
The alumina platts price also showed no change to settle at USD 372.43 per tonne.
