On Friday, October 10, the London Metal Exchange (LME) aluminium price for both cash bid and offer rose by USD 13 per tonne or 0.5 per cent and each settled at USD 2,799 per tonne and USD 2,799.5 per tonne.
The LME 3-month bid price rose by USD 6.5 per tonne or 0.23 per cent and finally stood at USD 2.786.5 per tonne. Similarly, the 3-month offer price also hiked by USD 6 per tonne or 0.21 per cent to come at USD 2,787 per tonne.
The upward trajectory is also seen in the December 26 bid and offer price when both went up by USD 3 per tonne or 0.1 per cent to finally reach USD 2,810 per tonne and USD 2,815 per tonne, respectively.

LME 3-month Asian Reference Price on Friday, October 10, fell by USD 50.5 per tonne or 1.8 per cent, falling from USD 2,798.5 per tonne to USD 2,748 per tonne.
Opening stock inched up by 225 tonnes or 0.04 per cent and is currently at 508,825 tonnes. Live warrants also added 2,225 tonnes to come at 405,700 tonnes. On the other hand, the cancelled warrant went down by 2,000 tonnes to 103,125 tonnes.
No change has been seen in the LME alumina Platts price and it is at USD 323 per tonne.
