According to Jenc, the main purpose of the project was to increase the working width and also field efficiency without making the machine excessively heavy that could affect its stability and performance.
To achieve that, the company used aluminium instead of heavier conventional materials, helping reduce overall mass while still supporting the large span required for spraying operations.
Jenc said the engineering process involved extensive analysis of bending forces, torsion, oscillation and load stress across articulation points, all of which become more challenging as boom width increases.

The lighter aluminium structure was intended to help maintain operability in field conditions while supporting wider coverage during spraying.
The development reflects a broader trend in large-scale agriculture, where equipment manufacturers are looking for ways to improve operational efficiency and reduce the number of field passes required during crop treatment.
The company is based in Bahia, Brazil, and has been involved in agricultural equipment manufacturing focused on high-capacity farming systems.
