PT Indonesia Chemical Alumina, bauxite ore processing company into Chemical Grade Alumina (CGA) in Tayan, West Kalimantan, a subsidiary of PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM)or Antam is projected to absorb 670,000 wet metric tons (wmt) of bauxite this year.
Antam’s bauxite reserves reach 108.8 million wmt with bauxite resource of 365 million wmt residing in the Tayan, Mempawah and Munggu Pasir in Kalimantan. "CGA raw materials will be supplied by Antam," said Tri Hartono, Antam corporate secretary.
