Huaihua City launches two new aluminium-related projects

In the initial quarter of 2024, Huaihua initiated 65 significant projects, amounting to a total investment of RMB 15.484 billion. These projects are part of an annual planned investment totalling RMB 7.8 billion, showcasing a substantial commitment to development and growth in the region. The production project for aluminium electrolytic capacitors by Qingyuan Science and Technology at the Huaihua Land Port involves a total investment of RMB 200 million.

Scope of construction and primary project components

Rent the vacant warehouse in the E-3 building at Wulingshan Commercial Logistics City, covering approximately 20,000 square meters. The plan is to establish a capacitor production facility to combine solder and bolt capacitors. This facility will include 30 production and assembly lines for high-speed lead capacitors and 13 production lines dedicated to horn capacitors.

The project entails expanding and enhancing the recycling capacity for 5,000 tons/year of aluminium electrolytic capacitor process waste in Huaihua's Chenxi County. Additionally, it includes the reconstruction and expansion of a facility to recycle 12,000 tonnes of scrap copper-clad steel electrodeposition per year, involving a total investment of RMB 70 million.

The construction scope and primary components are as follows: it will cover an area of approximately 3,000 square meters, expand the existing plant by 2,000 square meters, and establish two production lines dedicated to recycling waste tin-plated copper-clad steel electrodeposition, extracting metal tin, copper, and aluminium for use in the capacitor factory.
