Guangyuan Linfeng Aluminum & Electricity has attained the ASI Chain of Custody (CoC) Standard V2 (2022) Certification for its smelting facility in Guangyuan City, Sichuan Province, China. Downstream aluminium deep-processing users extensively utilise the company's products. The facility currently produces 240,000 tonnes per annum and previously attained ASI Performance Standard V2 (2017) Certification in November 2022.
The ASI Chain of Custody (CoC) Standard V2 (2022) Certification for Guangyuan Linfeng Aluminum & Electricity Co., LTD's facility was the result of a rigorous, independent, third-party audit. This audit, conducted by the reputable SGS-CSTC Standards Technical Services, thoroughly examined our aluminium smelting processes, specifically for producing electrolytic aluminium liquid.
The ASI CoC Standard V2 outlines the requirements for establishing a Chain of Custody for materials produced and processed through the value chain into various downstream sectors. Implementing ASI's CoC Standard connects verified practices at successive stages of the supply chain, certified under the ASI Performance Standard, to the materials produced by ASI Certified Entities.
The CoC Standard also ensures that appropriate policies and due diligence processes are in place to identify and address critical issues, such as corruption, human rights abuses, and materials originating from conflict-affected and high-risk areas, thereby supporting responsible sourcing.
