Guangxi Dongrong Pilot Demonstration Zone conducts groundbreaking ceremony of an aluminium and copper project

On Thursday, September 14, the Guangxi Dongrong Pilot Demonstration Zone laid the foundation stone of an aluminium and copper project in Baigui Industrial Park in the presence of the Deputy Director of the management committee and Li Honghui, a member of the Party Working Committee. They attended the event and addressed the audience, consisting of more than 60 representatives of the demonstration zone, Renyi Town government, project owner units and construction units.

The project will initially have an annual output of 50,000 tonnes of both aluminium and copper, involving an investment of RMB 500 million. Later on, it is expected to reach an annual output value of RMB 3.5 billion, creating new jobs for 80 people.

Li Honghui extended warm congratulations to the project and pointed out that since the beginning of the year, the demonstration area firmly established the concept of ‘Project is King’. He assured on behalf of the demonstration zone that they would focus on problem areas, build solid and world-class services, and make every effort to promote the construction of major projects to expand effective investment.

He also expressed his hope that all levels and departments would work hard to put project construction in an important position, solve difficulties, and strive to create a positive business environment.

It is reported that since the beginning of the year, the demonstration area has been promoting high-quality economic development, building a star-level deputy service centre, and accelerating the smooth start of eight significant projects such as Renxin cogeneration Green Science and Technology Park, Dongrong Modern Forestry Innovation Industrial Park, Dongde standard plant, and Xincheng Industrial Gas.
