Galuminium Group's Alumina Project Started Officially

It is reported that annual 800 thousand tons aluminum strip of Guizhou Galuminium Co., Ltd will produce qualified alumina products this month.
The plant can produce more than 30 thousand tons of qualified aluminum strip this month, to be sold in spot market according to the company, Guizhou Galuminium Co., Ltd. With favourable forwarding advantage, Guizhou can send alumina to nearby provinces like Yunnan, Sichuan, Guangxi and Hunan, Sinkiang, Qinghai, Gansu and Shanxi. As the key project in Guizhou province Galuminium has made huge investment to start the project. This project adopted Bayer process and became the biggest single capacity alumina production line, the most economical alumina production unit and the lowest comprehensive energy consumption of alumina production system. Moreover, Galuminium possesses further expansion plans, to create aluminum industrial base in China's western region depending on this project. After the first stage of alumina project go into operation, it can help the company to completely get rid of importing aluminium ore resources from overseas, can not only meet self-demand of raw material but also can provide more than 80% of raw material to domestic and international market.
