On September 7th, the Yulian Industrial Park photovoltaic project successfully connected its first phase to the grid for power generation. The project has been constructed by Suzhou Zhongxin New Energy Co., Ltd. and utilizes the roof of the Yulian Park factory building.
The project's total installed capacity is about 40 megawatts and will be constructed in two phases. The first phase, with a total capacity of 24MW, has been successfully connected to the grid for power generation through the joint efforts of all parties involved. The second phase is expected to be connected to the grid for power generation by the end of December.
After completing all phases, the annual power generation will reach approximately 44 million kilowatt hours, with an average annual reduction of roughly 44000 tonnes of carbon emissions. Over a 25-year service life, the power generation will reach approximately 1 billion kilowatt hours, reducing carbon emissions by over 1 million tonnes.
Yulian Group is dedicated to pursuing greening, intelligence, and digitization in its development. The company aims to optimize its energy structure by utilizing green energy, such as hydropower and photovoltaic, alongside venturing into the realms of green raw materials, such as recycled aluminium. This move will be crucial in continuously improving the green content of its products.
Additionally, the company will continue to promote the energy-saving transformation of traditional industries, cultivate core competitive advantages, and develop new materials and technologies around new energy and economic vents. Lastly, the creation and annulment of a carbon footprint management system will be actively promoted to provide more renewable energy-based items for society at large.
