In the esteemed tradition of AQW, "for the industry, by the industry," Alumina 2024 boasts a world-class technical program. With over 300 delegates from various sectors of the alumina industry, academia, suppliers, and stakeholders worldwide, the event is a nexus for networking, knowledge-sharing, and catalysing transformative innovations.
The Alumina 2024 Exhibition will be a dynamic showcase of cutting-edge technology from industry suppliers. Situated in an Exhibition Hall adjoining the Conference presentation areas, the setup will include breakout zones and refreshment facilities strategically placed to facilitate networking among attendees. Encouraging student engagement is a priority, with discounted registration rates, financial assistance for international travel, and mentorship opportunities for students presenting their research at the Conference.
Delegates will be exclusive to take technical tours of EGA's prestigious Al Taweela Alumina Refinery and Aluminium Smelter on Thursday, April 24th. Scheduled morning and afternoon tours will ensure an intimate exploration of both facilities in small, curated groups.
