
The Czech Republic's prosperous market economy, led by automobile exports, boasts one of the European Union's highest GDP growth rates, one of its lowest unemployment levels, and a rising standard of living. Industrial Production in the Czech Republic averaged 2.88% from 2001 until 2020, reaching an all-time high of 14.50% in February 2007 and a record low of -33.70% in April of 2020.

The Central European nation’s bauxite importation during 2018-19 demonstrates rapid downfall, as the import volume recorded was 68,381 tonnes and expenditures stood at $10.41 million. The projected import for 2020 has been marked at 17,414 tonnes and revenue expenditure to stand at $2.40 million. However, when the 2020 import volume and expenditure gets summed up, it depicts 85,795 tonnes and $12.81 million respectively.

Czech Republic’s bauxite import in 2018 remained at 47,407 tonnes and revenue expended stood at $6.78 million, whereas in 2019 the bauxite import denotes heavy de-growth by 55.75%, as the import volume dropped at 20,974 tonnes and expenditure also fell to $3.63 million.
The country’s bauxite import in 2020 has been projected with a downturn by 16.97%, as the import volume is expected to dip and remain at 17,414 tonnes and expenditure to outreach at $2.40 million.
The major trading nations for Czech Republic’s importation of bauxite are Bosnia Herzegovina, Belgium, China, Germany, Montenegro, Netherlands, Poland, etc.
