Columbia's aluminium coils and sheets manufacturer signs contract with Russian Alfa-Metal

Detal company and Russian Alfa-Metal have signed a contract for 3 years. Under the contract, Detal exports to the Russian market of 30 thousand tons of metal products. Products will mainly consist of rolls and boards colored aluminum.

At the current price level, the cost of the contract will be $70 mln. But if the price at the commodity exchanges will increase, the cost of the contract increases accordingly.

Detal S.A. is headquartered in Colombia. The company's line of business includes the retail sale of paint, glass, and wallpaper, along with rolls and boards colored aluminium. The monthly production capacity of Detal is 4.5 million tons of initial aluminum, of which 1000 tons processed into sheets and coils made of colored aluminum for sale. The aim is to transform all products in value-added products and export at a higher price.

The company exports coils and sheets of colored aluminum to Italy, Turkey, Belarus, Sweden in addition to the Russian market also. There are representation on the sale in Iran and Arab countries.

In the recently held "Metal Expo-2015" in Moscow, Detal demonstrated the semi-finished aluminum at the exhibition. Exhibitors were provided with detailed information about the features and product range.

The exhibition was attended by 25-30 thousand people, representing the fields of construction, engineering, transportation, metallurgy, metal traders and other areas. According to the event spokesperson, more than 560 companies producing ferrous and nonferrous metals from Russia, Germany, Italy and China have demonstrated their porudcts at the exhibition.

A conference entitled "Corporate Communication 2015" was held for the representatives of the industry in Russia and CIS countries. Hearings on advanced materials, technology and equipment for the steel industry and other topics were held.
