Chinese MSMEs in aluminium semis manufacturing make headlines

The government of Jiangle in China and Shanghai Hengming Mold joined hands to build one aluminium alloy die-casting and mould production line in the region this week, reported a source aware of the development.

Shanghai Hengming Mold with advanced cast aluminium product manufacturing capabilities will be investing 120 million yuan in the project, said the report.

According to the annual report published by Minfa Aluminum, the company’s total revenue for 2016 financial year was 1.042 billion yuan, down 8.87 per cent year-on-year. Profits for Minfa’s shareholders declined to 17.67 million yuan, down 7.34 per cent YoY.

Minfa Aluminum management stated in the disclosure that it expects its profits to increase 10 per cent-40 per cent YoY to 5.25-6.69 million yuan in the first quarter of the current financial year.
