Chinese aluminum billet prices up by 0.7%

Following a two-day flat streak, the price of Chinese aluminum billet climbed by 0.7 percent on March 21, 2013. The cash price of Chinese aluminum increased 0.3 percent. The price of Chinese aluminum bar held steady. The price of Chinese aluminum scrap saw little movement.
The cash price of primary Indian aluminum fell by 0.4 percent after a couple days of improvement.
On the LME, the primary aluminum cash price rose 0.2 percent to $1,905 per metric ton. On the LME, the aluminum 3-month price declined 0.1 percent to $1,943 per metric ton.
