China’s primary aluminium production grows 7.2% Y-o-Y in April’24 as investors bet on potential profit margin

According to the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), China’s primary aluminium production rose 7.2 per cent from a year earlier, standing at 3.58 million tonnes. Aluminium price rally in China and across the globe drove the output hike during the said period.
China’s average daily aluminium output in April was 119,333 tonnes, up by 3.05 per cent from 115,806 tonnes in March, according to Reuters calculation based on NBS data.
