China’s alumina spot price rises by RMB4/t; SMM A00 aluminium ingot price registers Q-o-Q escalation of 6.92%

China’s average alumina spot price has increased by RMB 4 per tonne to officiate at RMB 2,951 per tonne. The alumina price in Shanxi has amped up to RMB 2,970 per tonne, with RMB 10 per tonne addition. The alumina price in Guangxi has gained RMB 5 per tonne to park at RMB 2,960 per tonne.

The Shanghai Metals Market on September 27 witnessed overall price falls in China, with the SMM A00 aluminium ingot price negating RMB 20 per tonne to officially close at RMB 19,780 per tonne. The average prices have ranged between RMB 19,760 per tonne and RMB 19,800 per tonne. When we look at the registered price on June 27, a Quarter-on-Quarter influx of RMB 1,280 per tonne or 6.92 per cent can be perceived.

China’s eight central regions have all recorded dropping aluminium prices, with only one exception in Tianjin, where the price has spiked by RMB 50 per tonne to officially close at RMB 19,780 per tonne. In Foshan, the aluminium price has slumped by RMB 40 per tonne to rest at RMB 19,450 per tonne, while in Wuxi, the price has shed RMB 30 per tonne to close at RMB 19,760 per tonne. The aluminium ingot prices in Hangzhou, Chongqing and Linyi have all discarded RMB 20 per tonne to halt at RMB 19,780 per tonne each. In Shenyang and Gongyi, the aluminium price has dived down by RMB 10 per tonne to rest at RMB 19,700 per tonne and RMB 19,680 per tonne, respectively.

The low-carbon aluminium price in China has shrunk by RMB 28 per tonne, halting at RMB 20,241 per tonne.

The high-purity aluminium price (99.99%) and the high-purity aluminium price (99.996%) have refrained from any change.

The prices of aluminium alloy (A356), aluminium alloys (ADC12) and aluminium alloy (A360) all remained stoic in their previous positions.

China’s aluminium powder price also experienced no nudge today.
