China’s alumina price down by RMB34/t after staying restrained for five days; A00 aluminium price stands at RMB13960/t

The average spot alumina price in China is down by RMB 34 per tonne or 1.32 per cent on Tuesday, 19 November 2019 to RMB 2538 per tonne, after remaining flat at RMB 2572 per tonne from November 12-18.

Alumina price in East China stands at RMB 2560 per tonne, down RMB 30 per tonne from its previous price. Alumina prices in Central and North have declined by RMB 40 per tonne and RMB 30 per tonne to stand at RMB 2550 per tonne and RMB 2540 per tonne as on November 19. South China remains unchanged at RMB 2520 per tonne.

Alumina (Imported) price is down by RMB 50 per tonne to RMB 2590 per tonne. The average price is expected to range within RMB 2580-2600 per tonne.

A00 aluminium ingot price has extended its growth to RMB 13960 per tonne on November 19 from its previous price of RMB 13940 per tonne on November 18. This records an increase of RMB 20 per tonne or 0.14 per cent. The price is expected to range within RMB 13940-13980 per tonne. Spot aluminium price is likely to be traded at a premium of RMB 90-130 per tonne.

Aluminium ingot prices in Foshan and Wuxi stand at RMB 13900 per tonne and RMB 13950 per tonne, up RMB 10 per tonne each. The prices in Hangzhou, Shenyang, and Linyi are up by RMB 30 per tonne each to stand at RMB 13990 per tonne, RMB 13960 per tonne, and RMB 14020 per tonne.

In Chongqing, the price has decreased by RMB 10 per tonne to stand at RMB 13930 per tonne. Gongyi aluminium price is up by RMB 40 per tonne to RMB 13920 per tonne.

Aluminium alloy (ADC12) price has increased by RMB 50 per tonne to RMB 14550 per tonne today. The price is expected to range at RMB 14450 per tonne-14650 per tonne. The prices of aluminium alloys in East, South, and West stand at RMB 14550 per tonne, RMB 14500 per tonne, and RMB 14250 per tonne, up RMB50 per tonne each.

The Aluminium alloy (A380) and Aluminium alloy (A356) prices have climbed by RMB 50 per tonne each to RMB 15450 per tonne and RMB 14650 per tonne on Tuesday, 19 November 2019. The prices are expected to range at RMB 15350-15550 per tonne and RMB 14600-14700 per tonne.
