China’s A00 aluminium ingot suffers an RMB160/t price decline; High purity aluminium price drops by RMB100/t

A00 aluminium ingot price in China has plummeted by RMB 160 per tonne on July 14, Thursday. According to the Shanghai Metals Market, the price has precisely settled at RMB 17,440 per tonne, with average prices estimated to range between RMB 17,420 per tonne and RMB 17,460 per tonne and spot contracts to be traded at a discount price of RMB 20 per tonne and a premium price of RMB 20 per tonne.

The primary aluminium ingot price in Hangzhou has recorded a maximum decrease of RMB 390 per tonne to RMB 17,640 per tonne, followed by an RMB 190 per tonne decline in Gongyi to rest at RMB 17,370 per tonne. In Wuxi, Tianjin and Linyi, the A00 aluminium ingot prices have nosedived by RMB 160 per tonne to come in at RMB 17,440 per tonne, RMB 17,540 per tonne and RMB 17,540 per tonne. The price in Shenyang has suffered a loss of RMB 140 per tonne to rest at RMB 17,520 per tonne. In Chongqing, the primary aluminium ingot price has witnessed a plunge of RMB 130 per tonne to settle at RMB 17,480 per tonne, noted SMM on Thursday, July 14. The price of A00 aluminium ingot price dropped the lowest in Foshan by RMB 90 per tonne, closing at RMB 17,370 per tonne.

Today in China, the domestic price of low-carbon aluminium has shrunk by RMB 78 per tonne to stand at RMB 17,985 per tonne.

According to data shown by SMM, the high purity aluminium (99.99%) price and the high purity aluminium (99.996%) price have downsized by RMB 100 per tonne to stop at RMB 25,500 per tonne and RMB 26,500 per tonne, respectively.

Today, due to the declining primary aluminium ingot price, the aluminium alloy (A356) price has faced a downward plunge of RMB 150 per tonne, arriving at RMB 18,550 per tonne. The average prices are likely to range between RMB 18,400 per tonne and RMB 18,700 per tonne, says SMM.

The prices of aluminium alloys (ADC12) and aluminium alloy (A380) have slumped by RMB 200 per tonne to close at RMB 17,800 per tonne and RMB 18,800 per tonne, respectively. The average prices of aluminium alloys (ADC12) are expected to hover between RMB 17,700 per tonne and RMB 17,900 per tonne, while the average prices of aluminium alloy (A380) are like to range between RMB 18,700 per tonne and RMB 18,900 per tonne.

The aluminium powder price in China has lost RMB 0.10 per kg to settle at RMB 19.30 per kg, with average prices ranging between RMB 19.20 per kg and 19.40 per kg.
