
LME aluminium opened at US$2,360.5 per tonne on Wednesday and closed at US$2,359 per tonne, down US$1 per tonne or 0.04 per cent.

LME aluminium cash bid price closed at US$2,342.50 per tonne, with a US$14.5 per tonne or 0.61 per cent drop, according to London Metal Exchange. LME aluminium official settlement price also slumped by US$15 per tonne or 0.63 per cent to stop at US$2,343 per tonne.
3-month bid price and 3-month offer price tumbled down by US$15 per tonne or 0.63 per cent to peg at US$2,355 per tonne and US$2,355.50 per tonne.
Both December 23 bid price and December 23 offer price declined by US$15 per tonne or 0.62 per cent to settle at US$2,375 per tonne and US$2,380 per tonne.
LME aluminium opening stock came in at 340300 tonnes. Live warrants and Cancelled warrants for the same day stopped at 156300 tonnes and 184000 tonnes.
LME aluminium 3-month Asian Reference Price moved down by US$1.94 per tonne or 0.08 per cent to score at US$2,357.11 per tonne.
SHFE aluminium price
As of today, on July 14, the SHFE benchmark aluminium price for SHFE has lost US$19 per tonne or 0.72 per cent to stand at US$2,587 per tonne.
The most-traded SHFE 2208 aluminium closed down 3.69 per cent or RMB 660 per tonne to RMB 17,225 per tonne, with open interest down 6,790 lots to 169,601 lots.
The most-traded SHFE 2208 aluminium contract opened at RMB 17,170 per tonne overnight, with its high and low at RMB 17,500 per tonne and RMB 17,025 per tonne before closing at RMB 17,425 per tonne, up RMB 210 per tonne or 1.22 per cent.
