China’s A00 aluminium ingot price slumps by RMB250/t; Average alumina spot price inches up by RMB2/t

According to the Shanghai Metals Market, the A00 aluminium ingot price has declined by RMB 250 per to stop at RMB 22,480 per tonne. The average price for the same is expected to range between RMB 22,460 per tonne and RMB 22,500 per tonne, with spot contract to be traded at a premium price of RMB 110-70 per tonne.

For the same day, the price in Foshan and Wuxi has fallen down by RMB 250 per tonne to come in at RMB 22,150 per tonne and RMB 22,480 per tonne. In Gongyi and Chongqing the price has plunged by RMB 260 per tonne and RMB 240 per tonne to score at RMB 22,370 per tonne and RMB 22,450 per tonne. In Hangzhou and Shenyang the price has declined by RMB 110 per tonne and RMB 230 per tonne to record at RMB 22,630 per tonne and RMB 22,430 per tonne. The A00 aluminium ingot price in Tianjin and Linyi has nosedived by RMB 200 per tonne and RMB 290 per tonne to total at RMB 22,580 per tonne and RMB 22,530 per tonne.

Under the primary aluminium sector, the aluminium alloy (ADC12) price and (A380) price has gone down by RMB 100 per tonne to score at RMB 22,200 per tonne and RMB 23,200 per tonne. The average price for (ADC12) is expected to stand between RMB 22,100 per tonne and RMB 22,300 per tonne. For the same day, the average price for (A380) is expected to orbit between RMB 23,100 per tonne and RMB 23,300 per tonne.

The aluminium alloy (A356) price has also witnessed downfall by RMB 250 per tonne to peg at RMB 24,000 per tonne. The average price is expected to range between RMB 23,900 per tonne and RMB 24,100 per tonne.

As per the SMM data, the average alumina spot price has inched up by RMB 2 per tonne to come in at RMB 2,982 per tonne. In Shandong and Guangxi the price has climbed up RMB 5 per tonne to record at RMB 2,975 per tonne. However, the average alumina spot price in other provinces like Henan and Shanxi has shown no change to stop at RMB 3,000 per tonne and RMB 2,965 per tonne. In Guizhou, Lianyungang and Bayuquan the price has stood restrained to record at RMB 2,995 per tonne, RMB 3,425 per tonne and RMB 3,525 per tonne.
