China’s A00 aluminium ingot price slumps by RMB130/t to RMB18,900/t; Low carbon aluminium price drops to RMB19,575/t

On Monday, April 24, China’s A00 aluminium ingot price has dropped by RMB 130 per tonne to score at RMB 18,900 per tonne, with the spot contract price expected to be traded at a discount price of RMB 10 to a premium price of RMB 30 per tonne. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 18,880 per tonne and RMB 18,920 per tonne.

The prices in Wuxi and Gongyi have dipped by RMB 125 per tonne and RMB 120 per tonne to halt at RMB 18,900 per tonne and RMB 18,810 per tonne. In Foshan, the price has fallen by RMB 100 per tonne to reach RMB 19,020 per tonne. As per the SMM data, Chongqing and Linyi recorded a dip of RMB 80 per tonne to reside at RMB 19,080 per tonne and RMB 19,030 per tonne. In Hangzhou, the A00 aluminium ingot price has slipped by RMB 70 per tonne to come in at RMB 19,050 per tonne. On the same day, the prices in Shenyang and Linyi have decreased by RMB 60 per tonne and RMB 50 per tonne to halt at RMB 19,000 per tonne and RMB 19,010 per tonne.

The domestic price of low carbon aluminium has contracted by RMB 100 per tonne to stop at RMB 19,575 per tonne. The high purity aluminium (99.99%) and high purity aluminium (99.996%) price has slumped by RMB 100 per tonne to score at RMB 26,700 per tonne and RMB 27,700 per tonne.

The aluminium alloys (ADC12) price and aluminium alloy (A356) price has descended by RMB 100 per tonne to halt at RMB 19,300 per tonne and RMB 19,800 per tonne. The average price of (ADC12) is expected to orbit between RMB 19,200 per tonne and RMB 19,400 per tonne. For aluminium alloy (A356), the average prices are expected to orbit between RMB 19,600 per tonne and RMB 20,000 per tonne. As per the SMM data, aluminium alloy (A380) has moved down by RMB 75 per tonne to settle at RMB 20,300 per tonne, with the average prices standing between RMB 20,200 per tonne and RMB 20,400 per tonne.
