China’s A00 aluminium ingot price remains stoic at RMB18790/t; Low carbon aluminium gains RMB11/t

A00 aluminium ingot price has refrained from showing any change today, staying stagnant at RMB 18,790 per tonne, as the Shanghai Metals Market recorded on Thursday, August 11. The average prices were stuck between RMB 18,770 per tonne and RMB 18,810 per tonne, with spot contracts trading at discount prices of RMB 180 per tonne and RMB 140 per tonne.
The provinces in China have also seen negligible alterations when it comes to aluminium prices, with Linyi losing RMB 30 per tonne to RMB 18,710 per tonne, followed by RMB 20 per tonne growth in Foshan and Shenyang to rest at RMB 18,630 per tonne and RMB 18,710 per tonne, respectively. The primary aluminium prices in Gongyi, Wuxi, Hangzhou, Chongqing and Tianjin have shown no change in data from the previous day.
In China, the domestic price of low-carbon aluminium has expanded by RMB 11 per tonne to stand at RMB 19,233 per tonne on Thursday, August 11.
According to the data shown by SMM, high purity aluminium (99.99%) price and high purity aluminium (99.996%) price did not show any change as well recording yesterday’s data of RMB 26,900 per tonne and RMB 27,900 per tonne, respectively.
The aluminium alloy (A356) price has retained its position with no gain or loss, along with the prices of aluminium alloys (ADC12) and aluminium alloy (A380) remaining the same as recorded yesterday at RMB 19,900 per tonne, RMB 18,700 per tonne and 19,700 per tonne.
The price of aluminium powder also remained perched at RMB 20.60 per kg, showing no change, with average prices ranging between RMB 20.50 per tonne and RMB 20.70 per tonne.
