China’s A00 aluminium ingot price mounts to RMB18,390/t; Low carbon aluminium price soars up by RMB162/t

As per the SMM data, on Thursday, August 4, China’s A00 aluminium ingot price has grown by RMB 170 or 0.93 per cent to halt at RMB 18,390 per tonne. The average price for the same is expected to range between RMB 18,370 per tonne and RMB 18,410 per tonne, with spot contracts to be traded at a discount price of RMB 70-30 per tonne.

The price in Shenyang has surged the highest by RMB 180 per tonne to settle at RMB 18,340 per tonne. On the same day, the price in Linyi has augmented by RMB 170 per tonne to come in at RMB 18,440 per tonne. As per the SMM data, the price in Foshan, Hangzhou and Chongqing has soared by RMB 160 per tonne to rest at RMB 18,280 per tonne, RMB 18,410 per tonne and RMB 18,340 per tonne. In Wuxi and Gongyi, the price has escalated by RMB 150 per tonne and RMB 140 per tonne to record at RMB 18,350 per tonne and RMB 18,310 per tonne. In Linyi, the price has declined by RMB 120 per tonne to score at RMB 18,340 per tonne.

The domestic price of low carbon aluminium has escalated by RMB 162 per tonne to rest at RMB 18,878 per tonne.

The high purity aluminium (99.99%) price and high purity aluminium (99.996%) price have heightened by RMB 200 per tonne to record at RMB 26,500 per tonne and RMB 27,500 per tonne.

According to the SMM data, the aluminium alloy (A356) price has augmented by RMB 200 per tonne to settle at RMB 19,500 per tonne. The average price for the same is expected to orbit between RMB 19,400 per tonne and RMB 19,600 per tonne. On the same day, aluminium alloys (ADC12) price and (A380) price moved up by RMB 50 per tonne to close at RMB 18,400 per tonne and RMB 19,400 per tonne. The average price for aluminium alloys (ADC12) is expected to range between RMB 18,300 per tonne and RMB 18,500 per tonne. For aluminium alloy (A380), the average price is likely to hover between RMB 19,300 per tonne and RMB 19,500 per tonne.

The aluminium powder price has inched up by RMB 0.2 per kg to come in at RMB 20.2 per kg. The average price is expected to range between RMB 20.1 per kg and RMB 20.3 per kg.
