China’s A00 aluminium ingot price marks M-o-M surge of RMB310/t; Australian alumina price dips by US$2/t

On Tuesday, June 20, China’s A00 aluminium ingot price has grown by RMB 70 per tonne to halt at RMB 18,850 per tonne. M-o-M, the A00 aluminium ingot price registered a surge of RMB 310 per tonne from RMB 18,540 per tonne recorded on June 19. One of the main reasons for the increment in the prices can be related to stable outputs in most of the areas in China.

Today, the spot contract price is expected to be traded at a premium price of RMB 380 to RMB 420 per tonne. On the same day, the average prices are expected to orbit between RMB 18,830 per tonne and RMB 18,870 per tonne. The A00 aluminium ingot prices have expanded in most provinces except Tianjin, where it has dropped by RMB 10 per tonne to halt at RMB 18,760 per tonne.

As per the data, the prices in Chongqing and Linyi have gained RMB 70 per tonne to come in at RMB 18,850 per tonne and RMB 18,750 per tonne. In Gongyi, Foshan, Wuxi, and Hangzhou, the A00 aluminium ingot price has increased by RMB 50 per tonne to close at RMB 18,710 per tonne, RMB 18,750 per tonne and RMB 18,850 per tonne. In Shenyang, the price has ascended by RMB 40 per tonne to clock at RMB 18,800 per tonne.

The Australian alumina FOB price has dipped by US$2 per tonne to settle at US$333 per tonne. The aluminium powder price has inched up by RMB0.1 per kg to close at RMB 20.6 per kg, with the average prices expected to stand between RMB 20.5 per kg and RMB 20.7 per kg.

The domestic price of low-carbon aluminium has increased by RMB 50 per tonne to halt at RMB 19,351 per tonne. The high-purity aluminium (99.99%) price and high-purity aluminium (99.996%) price have grown by RMB 100 per tonne to close at RMB 26,300 per tonne and RMB 27,300 per tonne.

The aluminium alloy (A356) price has gone up by RMB 50 per tonne to score at RMB 19,500 per tonne, with the average prices expected to stand between RMB 19,300 per tonne and RMB 19,700 per tonne. Both aluminium alloys (ADC12) price and (A380) price have remained restrained at RMB 18,500 per tonne and RMB 19,500 per tonne.
