China’s A00 aluminium ingot price loses RMB100/t; Alumina price in Guizhou sinks by RMB15/t

A00 aluminium ingot price has downsized by RMB 100 per tonne to close at RMB 18,550 per tonne, as the Shanghai Metals Market recorded on Tuesday, October 25. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 18,530 per tonne and RMB 18,570 per tonne, with spot contracts trading at the discount price of RMB 40 per tonne.

The provinces in China have witnessed decreasing prices today, with the A00 aluminium ingot price dropping the highest in Wuxi by RMB 120 per tonne to stop at RMB 18,530 per tonne, followed by RMB 110 per tonne de-escalation in Gongyi resting at RMB 18,520 per tonne. In provinces like Shenyang and Linyi, the aluminium prices stood at RMB 18,500 per tonne and RMB 18,550 per tonne, with a fall of RMB 100 per tonne. In Foshan, Hangzhou and Chongqing, the aluminium price has plunged by RMB 90 per tonne, settling at RMB 18,700 per tonne, 18,580 per tonne and RMB 18,700 per tonne. The price of aluminium in Tianjin has suffered a loss of RMB 50 per tonne, closing in at RMB 18,580 per tonne.

In China, the domestic price of low-carbon aluminium has shed RMB 95 per tonne to stand at RMB 19,303 per tonne on Tuesday, October 25.

According to the data shown by SMM, high-purity aluminium (99.99%) price and high-purity aluminium (99.996%) prices have lost RMB 100 per tonne to stand at RMB 26,800 per tonne and RMB 27,800 per tonne, respectively.

The average alumina price in China has lost RMB 3 per tonne coming in at RMB 2,796 per tonne on October 25. The alumina prices in Shandong slumped by RMB 10 per tonne to close at RMB 2,740 per tonne. The price of alumina in Guizhou has dropped by RMB 15 per tonne to rest at RMB 2,750 per tonne.

The aluminium alloy (A356) price has slipped down the graph by RMB 100 per tonne arriving at RMB 20,000 per tonne. The average prices are likely to range between RMB 19,900 per tonne and RMB 20,100 per tonne, says SMM.

The prices of aluminium alloys (ADC12) and aluminium alloy (A380) have earned RMB 50 per tonne, closing in at RMB 19,400 per tonne and RMB 20,400 per tonne.

The aluminium powder price in China has refrained from showing any change today.
