China’s A00 aluminium ingot price hovers up by RMB130/t; Alumina price in Shanxi ascends RMB10/t

A00 aluminium ingot price has augmented by RMB 130 per tonne, closing at RMB 19,000 per tonne, as the Shanghai Metals Market recorded on Thursday, November 24. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 19,080 per tonne and RMB 19,120 per tonne, with spot contracts trading at premium prices of RMB 80 per tonne and RMB 40 per tonne.

The provinces in China have witnessed overall escalating prices today, with only the aluminium ingot prices remaining stoic in Wuxi and Hangzhou at RMB 18,965 per tonne and RMB 18,980 per tonne, respectively. Other than that, aluminium ingot prices have soared in Gongyi, Foshan and Linyi by RMB 130 per tonne to close at RMB 18,990 per tonne, RMB 19,160 per tonne and RMB 19,150 per tonne. Also, the aluminium ingot prices in Chongqing and Shenyang have gained RMB 120 per tonne to stop at RMB 19,200 per tonne and RMB 19,050 per tonne, respectively. In Tianjin, the aluminium ingot price closed at RMB 19,070 per tonne, with an addition of RMB 70 per tonne.

In China, the domestic price of low-carbon aluminium has glided up by RMB 132 per tonne to stand at RMB 19,763 per tonne on Thursday, November 24.

The prices of high-purity aluminium (99.99%) and high-purity aluminium (99.996%) both have seen an elevation of RMB 100 per tonne, halting at RMB 27,100 per tonne and RMB 28,100 per tonne, respectively.

The averaged alumina price in China has shot up RMB 6 per tonne to RMB 2,775 per tonne, while the alumina price in Shandong has seen an RMB 5 per tonne hike, resting at RMB 2,710 per tonne. The alumina prices in Shanxi, Guizhou and Guangxi have all gained RMB 10 per tonne, settling down at RMB 2,785 per tonne, RMB 2,720 per tonne and RMB 2,680 per tonne.

The price of aluminium alloy (A356) has heightened by RMB 150 per tonne to stop at RMB 20,350 per tonne.

The price of aluminium powder in China has risen by RMB 0.10 per kg to close at RMB 20.70 per kg.
