China’s A00 aluminium ingot price grows to RMB19,750/t; Low-carbon aluminium price gains RMB171/t

On Wednesday, April 3, China’s A00 aluminium ingot price has gained RMB 170 per tonne to settle at RMB 19,750 per tonne, with the spot contract price expected to be traded at a discount price of RMB 110 per tonne to RMB 70 per tonne. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 110 per tonne to RMB 70 per tonne.

On the same day, the prices in Foshan and Tianjin have surged RMB 200 per tonne and RMB 190 per tonne to clock at RMB 19,720 per tonne. In Gongyi and Wuxi, the domestic aluminium ingot prices have gained RMB 180 per tonne to reside at RMB 19,670 per tonne and RMB 19,750 per tonne. As per the SMM data, the A00 aluminium ingot prices in Shenyang and Linyi have hiked by RMB 150 per tonne to clock at RMB 19,650 per tonne and RMB 19,750 per tonne. In Hangzhou, the price has ascended by RMB 170 per tonne to arrive at RMB 19,750 per tonne, followed by a growth of RMB 60 per tonne in Chongqing to settle at RMB 19,530 per tonne.

The domestic price of low-carbon aluminium has increased by RMB 171 per tonne to RMB 20,634 per tonne. On the same day, the price of high-purity aluminium (99.99%) and high-purity aluminium (99.996%) increased by RMB 200 per tonne to RMB 27,200 per tonne and RMB 28,200 per tonne, respectively.

The average alumina spot price has lost RMB 2 per tonne to reach RMB 3,297 per tonne. In Shanxi, the price has fallen by RMB 5 per tonne to RMB 3,260 per tonne. As per the SMM data, the price of aluminium alloy (A356) has surged by RMB 200 per tonne to stand at RMB 20,350 per tonne, with the average prices standing between RMB 20,200 per tonne and RMB 20,500 per tonne.

For aluminium alloys (ADC12) and aluminium alloy (A380) the prices have gained RMB 100 per tonne to reside at RMB 20,400 per tonne and RMB 21,400 per tonne. The average price for (ADC12) is expected to stand between RMB 20,300 per tonne and RMB 20,500 per tonne. For aluminium alloy (A380), the average prices may orbit between RMB 21,300 per tonne and RMB 21,500 per tonne.
