China’s A00 aluminium ingot price drops to RMB18,320/t; Low carbon aluminium price slumps by RMB380/t
On Tuesday, January 3, A00 aluminium ingot price in China has declined by RMB 360 per tonne to settle at RMB 18,320 per tonne, with the average prices expected to range between RMB 18,300 per tonne and RMB 18,340 per tonne. The spot contract price is expected to be traded at a discount price of RMB 50 to RMB 10 per tonne.
As per the data, the prices in Foshan and Hangzhou have fallen by RMB 380 per tonne to reside at RMB 18,300 per tonne and RMB 18,330 per tonne. On the same day, both Wuxi and Tianjin witnessed a drop of RMB 350 per tonne to peg at RMB 18,310 per tonne and RMB 18,360 per tonne. In Linyi and Gongyi, the prices slumped by RMB 330 per tonne to score at RMB 18,320 per tonne and RMB 18,150 per tonne. The A00 aluminium ingot price in Chongqing and Shenyang settled at RMB 18,380 per tonne and RMB 18,360 per tonne after recording a downfall of RMB 300 per tonne and RMB 290 per tonne.
The domestic price of low carbon aluminium in China has also descended by RMB 380 per tonne to peg at RMB 18,872 per tonne. The prices of high purity aluminium (99.99%) and high purity aluminium (99.996%) have slumped by RMB 400 per tonne to come in at RMB 26,300 per tonne and RMB 27,300 per tonne.
The price of aluminium alloys (ADC12) and aluminium alloy (A380) has descended by RMB 100 per tonne to halt at RMB 19,300 per tonne and RMB 20,300 per tonne. The average price for the former is expected to range between RMB 19,200 per tonne and RMB 19,400 per tonne. For aluminium alloy (A380), the average price may orbit between RMB 20,200 per tonne and RMB 20,400 per tonne.
Aluminium alloy (A356) price has descended by RMB 350 per tonne to close at RMB 19,500 per tonne, with the average prices expected to stand between RMB 19,300 per tonne and RMB 19,700 per tonne. The price of aluminium powder has inched down by RMB 0.3 per kg to stop at RMB 20 per kg. The average price is expected to range between RMB 19.9 per kg and RMB 20.1 per kg.
