China’s A00 aluminium ingot price drops by RMB180/t to RMB 18,880/t; Low carbon aluminium price slips to RMB19,472/t

Following growth a day before, the A00 aluminium ingot price has dropped by RMB 180 per tonne to settle at RMB 18,880 per tonne, with the spot contract price expected to be traded at a discount price of RMB 70 to RMB 30 per tonne. The average price is expected to range between RMB 18,860 per tonne and RMB 18,900 per tonne.

As per the data, the A00 aluminium ingot price has experienced a fall in almost all the major provinces. The prices in Foshan, Wuxi, Hangzhou and Chongqing have slipped by RMB 180 per tonne to peg at RMB 18,890 per tonne, RMB 18,875 per tonne, RMB 18,885 per tonne and RMB 18,880 per tonne. The A00 aluminium ingot price in Gongyi and Shenyang has dropped by RMB 160 per tonne to reside at RMB 18,760 per tonne and RMB 18,850 per tonne. The prices in Tianjin and Linyi have also gone down by RMB 140 per tonne and RMB 150 per tonne to halt at RMB 18,890 per tonne and RMB 18,870 per tonne.

The domestic price of low carbon aluminium in China has dipped by RMB 180 per tonne to close at RMB 19,472 per tonne. The high purity aluminium (99.99%) price and high purity aluminium (99.996%) price have plunged by RMB 200 per tonne to peg at RMB 26,800 per tonne and RMB 27,800 per tonne.

Aluminium alloys (A356) price has slumped by RMB 200 per tonne to score at RMB 20,000 per tonne, with the average prices expected to orbit between RMB 19,800 per tonne and RMB 20,200 per tonne. The prices of aluminium alloy (ADC12) and aluminium alloy (A380) have shown no change, settling at RMB 19,750 per tonne and RMB 20,750 per tonne. The aluminium powder price has inched down by RMB 0.2 per tonne to halt at RMB 20.6 per tonne, with the average prices ranging between RMB 20.5 per tonne and RMB 20.7 per tonne.
